The running order on the day is;

The Aftermath
2pmAfter their return to Ireland earlier in late 2004 they began putting plans together, these started by going on tour with "The Frames". In March 2006 the band received an offer to support "The Mission" for 5 tour dates in Greece. The band went down a storm with over twenty thousand people over the five dates. "One is Fun", their debut album was released in July 2006 and it debuted at No.11 in the charts and stayed in the Top 40 for three weeks. As 2008 rolled around the focus turned to getting the record finished. Their debut album "Friendlier Up Here" was released on April 25 to rave reviews.

The Gandhis
3pmThe Gandhis have been developing their own unique style of pop quirkiness from their Lucan base since forming in 2004. Writing and singing duties are shared between all four members, Niall Cullen (Bass), Conor Deasy (Guitar), Aidan McKelvey (Guitar) and Bazz O'Reilly (Drums). Inspired by their shared love of all things pop, from the Beatles to the Buzzcocks, James Brown to Roy Orbison, the Clash to the Coral, they have created a sound simultaneously original and familiar.

Ilya K
4pmIn the world of the robot mind its hard to maintain a sense of character and originality.But its ok for help is at hand... ilyak not only breathe honesty into their music but sustain a quality of innovation and integrity that will help us erase the robots and be where we want to be! ilyak live shows stand testimony to this as the band inject an energy and passion into each performance that is rarely seen on any stage today.

Listen to some of Spellbounds music here.
Spellbound
5.30pmSpellbound was formed in 1986 by brothers Frankie and Adrian Hayes, who came from Bray, Co Wicklow, 15 miles south of Dublin City. Unlike other Irish bands of their time, Spellbound decided to head directly to mainland Europe, where their 1988 debut album "Mystical Madness" was very well received and notched up many thousands in sales (amazingly, that album was never released in their home country). The boys blazed a brief trail across the rockabilly and psychobilly festivals of Germany and Scandanavia before, it seemed, vanishing back into the "Hellfire" woods of County Wicklow.

The Pale
7pmThe Pale hail from Dublin and formed in 1990. They started out with a drum machine, mandolin, bass, acoustic guitar and vocals. In 1992 they released an award winning debut album on A&M Records called "Here's one we made earlier". The debut album and live shows received critical praise locally and internationally. The music they have produced over the years is often described as eclectic and quirky. You can often hear a hint of eastern european, reggae, ska, bluegrass, world music and pop.

Pugwash
8.30pmPUGWASH follow up their most critically and commercially successful album 'Jollity' with their second '1969 Records' release 'Eleven Modern Antiquities'. March 21st is the release date for what is possibly the most important Irish pop album release of the year. What we have is an amalgam of Thomas Walsh's songs and vision brought to the public ear by an orchestra of famed and highly respected musicians.
