Tramore Indoor Market
The Tramore Indoor Market has moved premises to the Central Garage on Main Street. Originally operating from a unit on Priests Roads, they had been forced to move as the premises was taken into receivership forcing the traders to find a new location. The new home for the Indoor Market will see most of the original traders return. Fresh fish, home-made breads, jams and seasonal fruit and vegetables all for sale. Great selection of Arts & Crafts, Plants & Shrubs. Plenty of locally sourced foods including vegetables, O'Neills dry cured bacon and Pete's fresh fish. (Listing: http://www.discovertramore.ie/view?p=Tramore_Indoor_Market) In other separate news, in an earlier blog article we spoke about Faithlegg House Hotel & Golf Club and The First Tee of Ireland joining forces to create a world record. From the first ball struck at 5.17am on the 22nd to the last putt holed at 5.45am on the morning of June 23rd, juniors and adults alike contributed to an occasion that will remain in memories for a long time to come. A new record has now been set for the record of the most number of golfers walking, playing and completing 18-holes, in a 24-hour period i.e. 631 which is greater than the existing of record of 623. Sunday Mass on the promenade will begin Sunday 5th July at 9.30 am until the end of August. Also, a summer camp from Tramore AFC will be held over two weeks in July. The details are as follows; Week 1: Monday July 20th - Friday 24th. 9.30am - 12pm. 5yrs - 8yrs @ €45 per child. Week 2: Monday July 27th - Friday 31st. 9.30am - 12.30pm. 9yrs - 13yrs @ €50 per child.
