During your visit to Tramore you might like to consider taking a day out visiting some of the local attractions. If you're into sightseeing, we highly recommend travelling the South East Coastal drive. The Discover Tramore South East Coastal Drive map is the perfect guide to use when travelling east or west, even if it's just for a day of touring. For the most part, this route is very well sign posted - just look out for the brown coloured signposts. There are two routes to choose from, one which passes through the Copper Coast and one which goes in the direction of Wexford. Our map will guide you through small villages and towns including Dunmore East, Annestown and Dungarvan. The coastal drive is remarked by visitors for its rich vein of heritage sites, tranquil villages, and stunning views. Why not take a break in the picturesque fishing village of Dunmore East. Guided walkways are available to purchase from local retailers. The Passage East Car Ferry will take you from Passage East to Ballyhack. Travelling on towards Wexford from Ballyhack, we suggest taking a trip down to The Hook Lighthouse, one of Ireland's top attractions. The lighthouse is one example of an almost intact medieval lighthouse and is possibly the oldest operational lighthouse in the world. Serving sailors for over 800 years, the lighthouse is a fantastic location along the South East Coast. When you complete the drive you will arrive in Wexford town. Wexford has lots to offer from shopping, water sports, and heritage. The John F Kennedy Arboretum covers 252 hectares with panoramic views and contains a vast collection of trees and shrubs. The perfect spot to relax and unwind, taking in the stunning views. The arboretum also offers picnic areas.
